Some Instruction on Universal Suffrage Tripod

1. The birth of Universal Suffrage Tripod (Universal Suffrage Tripod for short, UST )

I’m Zhu Hongxing, from China, a designer and owner of UST (also known as Twin Tripod).I’m a middle-aged scholar. A long time I committed to the peace of the world. Published that Global Village and so many books, founded the Global Village doctrine. At the same time, I am also tireless in the pursuit of democracy and freedom. In my opinion, the cornerstone of democracy is genuine universal suffrage. Universal suffrage is the ultimate symbol of entry a democratic society. I once wrote a poem: Yearn heart of hardship, All living things are dark, Heaven is not fair, One billion and five hundred million people have no universal suffrage. This is the ideal that I yearn for day and night, and also the ideological foundation of my making UST.

Zhu Hongxing is different from thinking constantly and looking for the best way to get into a democratic society. At the beginning of 2010, I in the study of ancient China covert language, inspired by, A covert language then the creation of a “从西女並日巽走之木勸”. It means “universal suffrage”. It demonstrates the pursuits of democracy and aspiration of human rights by the people.

2. The making process of UST

A good idea, how can we publicize it? How can we achieve twice the result with half the effort? I think of the traditional Chinese tripod culture. Tripod is a witness of civilization, as well as a carrier of culture, often endowed with sacred colors. If these ten words can be cast in the tripod, the concept of both solemn and elegant, extraordinary, but also profound to make people understand. So, I commissioned the China Xi’an Baoding company to produce Twin Tripod. It was shipped to Hong Kong in December 2010 and is displayed in Hong Kong Art Building. It was shipped to New York of USA in May of 2016.

The Tripod is 75CM in length, 48CM in width and 83CM in height. It weights 260LB. The UST is made of yellow copper as antique craft. It modeled on “Si Mu Wu Tripod”. It has four feet and two ears. It is a square tripod. The designs on its four side are Tao Tie Lines and Lei Yun Lines. The main designs on the front.”从西女並日巽走之木勸”are core designs of characters。 The design of Goddess and the sun on the right side， it only stands out，but has no actual meaning.

3. The significance of UST to the United States

The United States is a democratic, free and civilized country. All kinds of academic ideas can be freely communicated, and everyone pursues and acknowledges universal values.  There is an atmosphere of academic and artistic.

At the end of 2015,Hongxing Zhu went to the United States to apply for immigration, so in May 2016,the Twin Tripod shipped to New York.

In order to achieve the goal of making UST, we should better publicize the significance of universal suffrage and promote the healthy development of democracy. So I hope that UST can take root in the United States and be preserved in the United States forever. Therefore, I hope that knowledgeable people will go to Flushing, New York, to visit UST. At the same time, I hope that these two rare treasures will be collected by American collectors and preserved forever in a democratic country.
